Attorney Reed H. Olmstead Honored with Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Service
Hurlbett & Olmstead is proud to announce that bankruptcy attorney Reed H. Olmstead was honored with the 2014 William J. Lasarow Award for outstanding pro bono service in the Northern Division, Central District of California. Since 2011, Reed has volunteered at the Consumer Debt Clinic, held every Friday morning at the Bankruptcy Court in Santa Barbara.
Debtors, creditors, and other unrepresented individuals travel from Paso Robles, Santa Maria, Ventura, Oxnard, and all points in between to seek help at the Clinic. Reed and the other volunteers answer questions regarding the often-confusing bankruptcy process.
The Awards reception took place on November 20, 2014, at the Roybal Federal Building in Los Angeles.
Hurlbett & Olmstead recognizes the importance of pro bono service and is proud of Reed’s accomplishment and dedication to public service. Reed manages all of the firm’s consumer and small business bankruptcies.
